1915

1939
The Indianola FFA Chapter was established November 9, 1939 with Mr. Thomas Anderson serving as the Agriculture teacher. The officer team included all males and a record of 31 members.

Facts from the year 1939

In 1939, the first national headquarters owned by the FFA was purchased in Alexandria, Virginia, 28.5 acres.

Franklin D. Roosevelt became the inaugural U.S. president to deliver a speech broadcast on television.

Additionally, the first air-conditioned automobile, a Packard, was invented.
